XCity, the development arm of Polish State Railways (PKP), is partnering with Immofinanz Group on a €700m project that will include the renovation of public areas around the main station in Warsaw, and the development of two office towers, a shopping center, residential and leisure space on a 10 ha plot at Plac Zawiszy near the city center. PKP said it is working out the details of the final contract with Immofinanz. Assuming contract negotiations are brought to a successful conclusion, the companies expect to break ground in 2017.
