Heineken signed a long-term lease on 1,800 sqm of prime office space at the Liget Centre in Budapest. The company moved into its new Hungarian headquarters at the beginning of April. The historic property, built in 1948, is now fully occupied. Owned by CBRE Property Fund Central Europe (PFCE), the building was completely refurbished by Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat in 2000 and offers 7,168 sqm of space. The project includes a number of sustainable features, like selective waste collection containers and electric car charging stations in the underground garage.
