Hercesa, the developer of Vivenda Residence in Bucharest, is planning to break ground on an office building in the city’s Piata Unirii district. The building will offer 5,000 sqm of leasable space and will go up on land the company owns near the Bucharest Court House. Costs are estimated at €7m. Construction is expected to take 18 months, according to Mauricio Mesa Gomez, head of Hercesa in Romania. The space will be leased for around €12 to €13/sqm/month.
Hercesa has been active in Romania since 2004. The value of the company’s Romanian portfolio exceeds €150m.
