The Polish State Railways (PKP) is looking to offload its Natura Tour health resort chain. Established in 2000, the network includes units in Świnoujście, Międzyzdroje, Dziwnówek, Ustronie Morskie, Mielno, Gdynia Sopot, Jastarnia, Spała, Karpacz, Wisła and Zakopane. Bidders have until the end of the month to submit their offers. The chain has a customer base of 340,000.
Turning to the subject of Poland’s real estate sector, PKP board member Jarosław Bator said that it continues to attract considerable attention from international investors. He pointed out that Polish real estate has benefited from the political unrest in Ukraine by proving itself to be a stable market. “The key problem seems to be a lack of high-quality investment product, which will push the local development market forward in the coming years,” he said.
