J&T Real Estate CZ is planning to start work on a new office scheme in Prague’s Karlín district. Called Rustonka, the project includes three office buildings. The first phase will offer 11,300 sqm of leasable space. The developer intends to start shovel work this year, with a tender for general contractor to be launched shortly. Martin Kodeš, sales director at J&T Real Estate CZ, told Hospodářské noviny that construction should start in the fall. The first office building should be completed in 14 months. Tenants will be able to move into the building near the Invalidovna metro station in mid-2017. Kodeš said J&T does not plan to relocate to Rustonka, but the space might be taken by some of the companies controlled by J&T or its business partners.
