Jacksonville SunTrust building goes to Mainstreet Capital Partners

Mainstreet Capital Partners has acquired the SunTrust building in downtown Jacksonville for $31 million. The building located at 76 S. Laura St has 383,239 square feet spread out over 23 floors. The purchase price works out to about $81 per square foot. The company also purchased the five story 600 space parking garage next door at 37 S. Hogan St which is slated for completion in May. Mainstreet took out a $27 million mortgage from BMO Harris Bank for the purchase. The building is approximately 41 percent leased.
