The Verzasca Group plans to build a 19-story condominium tower on the old Denny’s site in Sunny Isles Beach. Located on the west side of Collins Avenue, the 1-acre site will have 76 units priced from $1 million to nearly $2 million built on it. The property will feature street-level commercial retail and restaurant space. Units will average 1,600 square feet and will be priced at less than $1,000 per square foot, compared to $1,500 to $2,000 per square foot on the ocean side of Collins. The group should soon submit its application for development approvals to the city of Sunny Isles beach.
