Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) will develop new commercial buildings around the O2 World arena in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district. The four buildings, totaling 60,000 sqm of GFA, will go up on a 20,000 sqm site on Mühlenstrasse. The project includes 9,000 sqm to 10,000 sqm of office space as well as two hotels with 125 to 254 rooms. The investment also includes a 2,500-seat movie theater, a bowling alley, cafes, restaurants and bars. Mercedes-Benz, the future sponsor of the arena, is a project partner.
