Lincoln Property Co. is planning a new 408-unit apartment complex in downtown Tampa. Named Aspire, the site is located just north of the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the performing Arts, on a surface parking lot next to the Barrymore Hotel. The land is owned by New Jersey-based Denholtz Associates. The five story apartment building is to have six stories of parking with 865 spaces and an additional 3,600 square feet of retail. The Dallas-based company Lincoln has been building Aspire-branded communities around the Southeast, including a 279-unit project in Nashville and a downtown Orlando property with 164 units.
