The Hungarian unit of the German automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler is planning to expand its Debrecen factory in eastern Hungary. The HUF 12bn scheme will add 72 jobs to the local labor market. The Hungarian government will cover HUF 722m of the cost. The scheme will increase the company’s production and warehouse capacity in the country. The investment also includes new equipment for the factory.
