The 12,600 sqm production and distribution facility developed for Tomra Sorting Solutions at Prologis Park Bratislava has been awarded with a BREEAM Very Good certificate. Goldbeck was the general contractor of DC8 and Arcadis CZ oversaw the BREEAM accreditation process. “We strive to provide our customers with tailored solutions for their facilities, which incorporate both environmental and economic specifications,” says Martin Polák, senior vice president and country manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at Prologis. He added that the building’s low water consumption and the effective minimization of waste helped it score 82 and 100 for those indicators.
