As a part of its consolidation plan for the Katowice market, Poland’s state-run logistics provider PKP Cargo will relocate to Echo Investment’s A4 Business Park. The company took 8,000 sqm of office in the project’s second phase, representing 82 percent of the total space in the building. Joanna Nicińska, senior leasing manager of Echo’s hotel and office division, said that PKP is set to take the remaining 1,500 sqm of office space in the building in June, pushing vacancy rate to zero. At the same time, one of PKP’s former premises, located at św. Huberta street, will be put up for sale. Savills advised PKP on the consolidation process. The transaction represents biggest lease deal on the Katowice office market in the last few years.
