Poland’s CPI Index dropped again in February by 1.6 percent year-on-year, according to the most recent report from the Polish Statistics Office (GUS), surpassing market expectations by 1.4 percent. The month-on-month figure from January to February fell to -1.6 percent. GUS points out that falling oil prices continue to drive the fall in consumer prices in Poland, but economists claim this could have a positive impact on demand for goods and services.
