Deutsche Asset buys Deutsche Bank Campus in Berlin

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management acquired the Deutsche Bank Campus on Berlin’s Ernst-Reuter-Platz from Art-Invest for €150m. The property includes a section that was originally built in the 1960s and refurbished in 2003 as well as a new section that can accommodate around 2,500 employees, which Art-Invest plans to complete by the end of 2016. Both buildings are set to receive LEED gold certification and will be held in the Grundbesitz Europa open-ended property fund. Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management’s portfolio now includes 49 properties, of which 11 are situated in Germany.
