The Tampa International Airport board of directors has approved a variance to the Seminole Tribe of Florida for a new hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. The new 1.2 million square foot hotel will have 16 floors and 537 rooms and mark the second hotel on site. Further additions will include 250 extra restaurant and bar seats, increased gaming and 450 new parking spaces. The height variance, which is capped at 420 feet, is due to its proximity to the Tampa Executive Airport.
