The Romanian retail sector posted a sales increase of 7.3 percent y-o-y in January. Romania ranked fourth among European countries in terms of retail sales for the month, according to recent data published by Eurostat.
Retail sales in EU countries increased on average by 4 percent y-o-y and 0.8 percent m-o-m in January.
