Robertino Georgescu and Dan Drăgulin have recently purchased land located in Bucharest’s Military district from the former factory Turbomecanica. The investors behind Metropolitan Residence bought 13.8 ha of land from Policolor last summer on Theodor Pallady Boulevard.
The aerospace components producer Turbomecanica put the land on sale after completing the relocation of its factory, and will use the money to pay off a loan to BRD Bank.
The two investors have developed and sold about 1,500 new homes in southern Bucharest. They plan to build 6,000 homes on the 14 ha plot acquired last year from Policolor.
