The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben, Germany’s federal real estate management agency, leased 4,000 sqm of office space at Quartier Stadtmitte in Berlin for the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (BMJV). Situated on Friedrichstrasse, the property offers a total leasable area of 20,000 sqm, including apartments, as well as about 2,000 sqm of retail space on the ground floor. The owner of the investment is a real estate fund managed by Warburg-Henderson. The Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection will move into the space in the second quarter. BNP Paribas Real Estate represented the tenant, while HIH assisted the owner.
