Bauwert partners with Catella on new housing scheme in Düsseldorf

Bauwert and Catella started renovating the former Thyssen Trade Center in Düsseldorf into a residential building. Situated on Grafenberger Allee, Living Circle will offer 340 apartments on 30,383 sqm of living space. The scheme also includes a daycare center and neighborhood shops. The developers and the city agreed to establish a rent cap of €8.50/sqm on 20 percent of the residential space. The investment is expected to cost around €100m. Construction began in January with completion set for the summer 2016.
