Housing Trust Group has just completed Village Place, a 112-unit senior community, for $15m. The development, which is located at 720 Northeast Fourth Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale, has 82 one-bedroom units and 30 two-bedroom units and was designed by Sotolong Salman Henderson. Housing Trust Group bought the 1 acre site in 2013 for $2.8m and received a $39m loan from the U.S. Bank in December 2013. Fifty percent of the units are reserved for households earning half of the area’s median income. Village Place has been fully leased.
