Patrizia acquires Danish real estate portfolio

27 January 2015

Patrizia Immobilien purchased a commercial property portfolio in Denmark through its Scandinavia subsidiary, Patrizia Nordics, for €170m. Six of the office and retail properties are situated in Copenhagen’s central pedestrian area, Stroget. Around 10 percent of the space comprises apartments. The portfolio was purchased for the recently launched Patrizia Nordic Cities fund as an initial investment for two German investors.
In addition to the commercial portfolio, Patrizia Nordics also concluded several residential real estate transactions worth €100m in recent days. The projects include new developments and existing buildings near Copenhagen’s royal palace. The acquisitions were co-investments made with an institutional investor from Germany.
