Arca Capital wants to buy Zuno

Slovak financial magnate Pavol Krúpa, the majority owner of Arca Capital, wants to buy the online bank Zuno from Raiffeisen Bank International. Slovenská sporitelna, a member of Austria’s Erste Bank Group, is also considering submitting a bid, according to the economic daily Hospodárske noviny. The financially troubled Zuno operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with 250,000 clients. It has been active in Slovakia since 2010. It entered the Czech market in 2011.
