Moss & Associates wins two high-speed rail station contracts

All Aboard Florida, which is spearheading the implementation of the new high speed rail service, has awarded the construction contract for two South Florida stations to the Fort Lauderdale-based contractor Moss & Associates. Construction of the West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale stations should begin at the end of March. The 60,000 square foot West Palm station is expected to cost $29 million and will feature an elevated lounge with seats for up to 180. The Miami-to-West Palm Beach rail service is expected to start in late 2016 with the Orlando line starting in 2017.
