Hochtief to build new ČSOB building

13 January 2015

Hochtief CZ will oversee construction of the new ČSOB bank building in Prague 5-Radlice. The new building, an expansion of the existing bank’s headquarters at the Radlická metro station, will accommodate 1,400 employees and is scheduled for completion in three years. The investor hopes to secure LEED Platinum certification for the energy efficient building. Like ČSOB’s other building in Radlice, the second building will be covered with greenery and the two buildings will be connected. While the first building was designed by Josef Pleskot, the Chalupa architekti studio will design the new addition. ČSOB plans to relocate its employees scattered around Prague to the new building, and has put four buildings in its portfolio on the market because of the planned development, writes ČTK.
