A 28 km stretch of the Nadlac-Arad highway, connecting the villages of Nadlac and Pecica, opened last week. Drivers will have to reduce their speed to 100 km per hour until work on the highway is completed, according to local news reports. The first section of the western highway should be finished in January, while the second section is set for completion in June. Astaldi-Max Boegl is overseeing the construction for €69m.
