JLL named Marius Scuta acting head of its rapidly growing business in Romania, after Gijs Klomp announced he was taking a job at CBRE in Prague. Scuta heads the company’s office leasing and tenant representation departments. In his new position, he will work closely with Troy Javaher, JLL’s head of capital markets for the CEE region.
“Gijs has been an excellent ambassador for JLL, successfully promoting Romania and its attractive prospects for international businesses. We shall be sorry to see him leave but wish him continued success on his return to Prague,” said Scuta.
Klomp will head capital markets at CBRE. He will coordinate the sales activities of the company’s large international clients in the CEE region. Klomp previously worked for ING Real Estate Investment Management.
