Central Group has chosen architect Josef Pleskot to redesign Rezidence Park Kavčí Hory, a residential project the developer plans to build in Pankrác-Prague 4 near the public TV headquarters. Pleskot previously designed four 22-story apartment buildings with retail space on the ground floor and a green park. Dušan Kunovský, Central Group’s board chairman, expects the project will face heated public debate and expects the developer is in for a four- or five-year fight to push it through. If it does not succeed, Central Group can always develop the project it originally bought from Hochtief Development in 2012, which has all the necessary permits. That scheme includes five low-standing buildings with 500 flats.
