Following the success of its Potrefená husa franchise, the Staropramen brewery has opened a new restaurant chain called Naše hospoda (Our Pub). Staropramen opened four locations: two in Prague, one in Pardubice and one in Hradec Králové. The pubs will not be operated as franchises, but will have a unified interior design.
Staropramen launched its Potrefená husa concept 15 years ago. It currently operates 29 location. The idea is not unique. Plzeňský Prazdroj operates a Pilsner Urquell original restaurant chain, while Heineken operates Šalanda restaurants, and Budvar has its Budvarka chain.
