Brazilian developer plans mixed-use Orlando scheme

Several years ago a small but popular Orlando sandwich shop closed its doors for good. Located next door on N. Magnolia was a fire station that also closed. It’s finally emerged what will replace them. Soten Enterprises LLC, a Brazilian developer purchased the 0.72 acre lot for $1.8m and has plans to build a mixed-use project on the property.

The Lunch Basket restaurant sat at the corner of N. Magnolia Ave and Marks St. for over three decades. Soten Enterprises purchased the property from Wescar Pasadena Inc. The property is zoned for office, retail and up to 200 residential units, according to the Orlando Business Journal.

Other completed projects in the nearby uptown area include The Nora and Steel House.
