A new condo project has been announced in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The strategy is to provide smaller units at a competitive price. Stripey Developments and 4R Development are joining together to build 26 Edgewater.
The developers purchased the 20,000 square foot site in early 2014 for $2.4m. 26 Edgewater will be a ten-story building with 86 units. The project will break ground in December and is expected to be completed in mid-2016.
58 of the units will be 560 square foot one bedroom units priced at $270,000. The remaining 28 units will be two bedrooms ranging in size from 810 to 980 square feet costing an average of $340,000.
26 Edgewater will have 10,436 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, a pool deck and a fitness center.
