Siemens opens HUF 600m training center in Budapest

23 October 2014

Prime minister Viktor Orban repeated his goal of attaining full employment by 2018 at the opening ceremony of the Siemens Training Centre, an event attended by Germany’s ambassador, Hungary’s economics minister and the president of Hungary’s chamber of commerce. Orban praised Siemens for rebuilding its old training center to create a modern, practice-oriented instruction facility, claiming that the Hungarian government contributed HUF 224m of the HUF 600m investment. Helping train Hungarians for today’s workplace is key for Orban’s stated desire that no one should need government income support by 2018.
