Verdion is planning to develop a logistics park at the future airport in Berlin. The investment will go up in phases and will offer 92,900 sqm of warehouse space with units ranging from 54,00 sqm to 40,000 sqm. Verdion intends to start construction at the beginning of 2015. Cushman & Wakefield and De Morgan & Co advised Verdion.
“Verdion Airpark Berlin occupies an exceptional location adjacent to what will become one of Europe’s most important airports. Our commitment to this location is underpinned by the forecast for continued growth of both the airport and the wider Berlin economy. Having already successfully developed, let and sold the Air Link Park project next door, Verdion is confident of the merits and attraction of this new development,” said Michael Hughes, CEO of Verdion.
