The Romanian Ministry of Communications and Information Society is considering purchasing the Palatul Telefoanelor building in Bucharest. Telekom Romania Communications, formerly Romtelecom, wants to offload the building as well as two other properties at a starting price of €21.6m for all three. The asking price for the Palatul Telefoanelor building alone is €10.7m. Located on a 1,893 sqm plot, the building offers 12,000 of space. The ministry said it would make a final decision by Oct. 17.
