Euro Insol, the liquidator of MLP Bucharest Sud, sold MLP Bucharest Sud logistics park to AGI-RRE Hera for RON 62.5m (€14.2m).
The logistics park, located in Popeşti Leordeni, covers 56.5 ha with 12,000 sqm of leasable space. The park’s largest tenant is Sarantis Group, a cosmetics importer.
MLP Bucharest Sud was built in 2010 by Millennium Logistic Parks Group in Poland. It became insolvent in April 2013 and went bankrupt in October 2013. The company’s biggest creditor is Alpha Bank. It owes the bank RON 105m (€23.8m), according to Euro Insol, which represents roughly 72 percent of the entire outstanding debt.
