Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), an affiliate of Austria’s Erste Group, is looking for a new 15,000 sqm space in Bucharest to move its pensions subsidiary as well as several other departments. BCR’s real estate management department is in the process of selecting a broker. Bank officials say they plan to move in stages, starting with 5,000 sqm in the first phase. The BCR pensions department is currently based near the city’s Aurel Vlaicu International Airport. BCR also has office space at Bucharest Financial Plaza and University Square.
