The leading government party Smer would win Parliamentary elections in Slovakia as of the beginning of this summer, according to a recent poll of voters held between June 23 and July 20. It found that Smer would have picked up 45.9 percent of the vote. The nearest competitor, SieÅ¥, could only pick up 10.7 percent support, followed by KDH (8 percent), writes the server hnonline.sk. Other minor parties such as Most-HÃd, SaS, OĽaNO and SNS would also get into the Parliament.
The results mark a 4.3 percent improvement for Smer since the last poll by Median SK, while Sieť nearly doubled its result with a gain of 5.8 percent.
