Doprastav moving HQ to tax haven?

14 August 2014

Slovak construction company Doprastav could change hands in the restructuring process that started in March this year, writes the server etrend.sk. Majority shareholder Dušan Mráz could be replaced by Tempelis Limited, a British-Cyprian company and one of Doprastav’s creditors.

Located in London’s suburbs, the company lent the construction company €10m last year. While Doprastav will most probably not be able to pay back the loan, Tempelis as a covered lender could have a free hand in taking control of the construction company. Doprastav would most likely be relocated to a tax heaven, enabling Tempelis to collect higher profits from its operations.
