Prefab to sell assets to reduce company costs

Prefab, a building materials manufacturer owned by Marian Petre Milut, plans to put a number of its assets on the market to help reduce company costs and fund future business growth. The company plans to offload a 1.6 ha plot in Snagov as well as a petrol station, a villa with 12 rooms in Jupiter and a building in Bucharest. The company’s operating income fell 10 percent to RON 12.4m in the first quarter. Prefab also reported RON 2.2m in losses for the same period compared with Q1 2013.
