It’s been more than a year since Sky Tower was completed, but the tallest office building in Romania is still just 36 percent leased. The Bucharest project brought in €1.7m in revenue in 2013. The developer, Raiffeisen Evolution, had hoped to sign leases on at least half of the building’s space by the end of 2013 with a goal of leasing the entire tower by the end of this year. Sky Tower, an investment of €100m, has a lettable area of 41,200 sqm. Tenants include Raiffeisen Bank, PeliFilip, Amadeus, GeCad, Tinmar and Bomax. Rents in the city’s Barbu Vacarescu area, where the 37-floor tower is located, are between €10 and €15 per sqm per year.
