The office property located at Brandschenkestrasse in Zurich will be converted into a 380-room hotel. The developer, Swiss Prime Site, is investing CHF 50m to modify the complex into a hotel. The investor found that the urban location near the Bahnhofstrasse as well as the property’s existing layout work in a hotel format under the design concept of Motel One Group. The hotel’s opening is scheduled for 2016. The leasing contract with Motel One was signed yesterday.
