Patrice Genre to head La Francaise Real Estate Partners

Patrice Genre was appointed chairman of La Francaise Real Estate Partners, a new division of La Francaise Group that targets institutional investors interested in the French real estate market. Genre has more than 25 years of real estate and finance experience. He founded DTZ Asset Management in 1999, where he served as CEO until last October. Genre previously headed the international real estate investment division at Suez-Lyonnaise des Eaux Group and held various management positions at Goldman Sachs in Paris, moving from acquisitions to debt management to portfolio management.

La Francaise Real Estate Partners intends to invest as much as €2bn into commercial real estate over the next three years. La Francaise Group acquired a 24.9-percent stake in Forum Partners in 2013. La Francaise and Forum Partners bought Cushman & Wakefield Investors earlier this year, which was renamed La Francaise Real Estate Partners.
