Kapsch doubles Romanian revenues in 2013

The Austrian group Kapsch doubled its revenues in Romania in 2013, reaching €20.7m according to documents filed with the country’s Ministry of Finance. The IT, telecoms and technology supplier for transportation systems took in €20.7min 2013, recording a net profit of €236,173. That was a significant improvement over 2012, when the company made a loss of €157,000. As revenues have increased, Kapsch has increased its staffing levels, jumping from 32 in 2012 to 73 by the end of 2013. The company is targeting Romania where it says IT budgets are due to increase significantly over the next three years.
