Polish employment rate to grow 15% in Q3

Poland’s employment rate is expected to grow by 15 percent in the third quarter of the year, according to a recent report from Manpower Institute. This has pushed earlier Q3 forecasts up by 2 percent year-on-year and 3 percent quarter-on-quarter to 9 percent.

Out of all the employers polled by Manpower, only 6 percent are planning to reduce their staff in the third quarter of the year, while 75 percent said they have no plans to cut jobs.

The country’s manufacturing sector is expected to see the biggest growth (17 percent), according to the report, followed by the logistics and transportation sectors (15 percent) and the retail sector (11 percent).
