A new SUV from Seat will start production in the Czech Republic in 2016. The new model will be manufactured at Škoda’s plant in Kvasiny, which was recently expanded. Jürgen Stackman, head of Seat, confirmed the news to Bloomberg and said that the SUV is expected to boost the company’s profits. Seat is part of Volkswagen.

The Škoda factory in Kvasiny currently produces Škoda Yeti, Škoda Superb and Superb Combi and Roomster. Seat production is expected to bring new jobs to the local market.
