An increasing number of private investors are buying residential units on the Romanian market as rental investments. In an effort to seize on the trend, Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Romania is offering to give retail investors hefty discounts if they agree to purchase a unit at the Cosmopolis residential project. Gabriel Voicu, director of the new homes division at Coldwell Banker, said the company is willing to slash what would amount to a year’s rent off the asking price. Projects with high occupancy rates and near office buildings are a prime target for investors.
