VF Corporation’s PointPark D8 European Distribution Hub Expansion is P3’s Largest BTS Deal

VF Corporation, owner of iconic brands such as Wrangler, Vans, The North Face, Timberland and Kipling has selected the PointPark Prague D8 logistics park of specialist investor, developer and asset manager of warehouse properties PointPark Properties (P3) to expand its European distribution hub. The new 39,187 m2 build-to-suit (BTS) facility is P3’s largest tailor-made development in Europe in the last five years.

Tomáš Míček, Country Head P3 Czech Republic said: “VF Corporation’s decision to expand at PointPark Prague D8 is a reflection of the park’s excellent infrastructure and location. P3’s dedicated BTS teams mean that new facilities can be quickly designed and developed according to clients’ specifics needs.”

VF Corporation has been present at PointPark Prague D8 since 2005, and currently leases almost 33,000 m2 at the park. The new facility will enable the company to consolidate activities from a number of distribution operations under a single roof. Construction of the new warehouse will begin in Q2 2014, with completion expected in 2015. The facility will incorporate a number of innovative energy saving and environmentally friendly features, including thermally insulated loading docks, intelligent lighting systems and a modern heating and venting system.
