After taking over Warsaw’s most often-sold asset, Rondo 1, Deutsche Bank is reportedly considering another transaction on the Polish market. According to media reports, the investor might now be bidding on Metropolitan, another landmark building located on Plac Piłsudskiego street in Warsaw.
The project belongs to Aberdeen, a real estate fund that acquired the property in 2006 for €169m. Market observers speculate that eight years later, the building could sell for as much as €200m.
Delivered in 2003 by Hines, the Metropolitan building offers 38,000 sqm of lettable space. Cushman & Wakefield has been the building’s exclusive manager since 2006. The project obtained a BREEAM In-Use certificate last year.
