Elbfonds appoints BNP Paribas strategic advisor of retail portfolio

16 April 2014

Elbfonds selected BNP Paribas Real Estate Capital Markets as a strategic adviser for its Polish retail portfolio. BNP Paribas will advise on facility management sales and other financial matters. Elbfonds said the move is a part of the investor’s wider plan to reestablish itself as a closed-end fund. ā€œIn an effort to provide high-quality services to our clients and investors, and to increase the exposure of our marcredo brand, we’re currently looking to secure partners from various market sectors,ā€ says Stephan Groht, founder and the owner of Elbfonds Development.

ā€œElfbonds’ retail portfolio has been created with well-performing projects, including, in large part, convenient stores, providing their offer to Poland’s biggest residential schemes, which makes them an interesting target for investors seeking a stable return rate and low risk,ā€ says Małgorzata Gajuk, associate director for BNP Paribas Real Estate Capital Markets in Poland.
