Sales at Poland’s top 11 housing developers jumped 97 percent in the first quarter of the year, the daily Puls Biznesu reports, adding that the country’s regional cities produced the highest margins at the beginning of 2014. Polish developers polled by the daily include Atal (317 flats sold), Budimex Nieruchomości (275), Dom Development (400), Inpro (100), JW Construction (248), Marvipol (271), Murapol (527), LC Corp (354), Polnord (309), Robyg (576) and Ronson (206).
The newspaper claims that the recovering housing market is improving confidence among Polish consumers, bolstered by the positive outlook of the local labor market. It adds that new demand is also being driven by low interest rates and low flat prices.
