Globalworth, controlled by Ioannis Papalekas, is planning to purchase UniCredit Tower in Bucharest in an acquisition worth approximately €43.4m. The office project was built by Bog’Art and financed by UniCredit Tiriac Bank. Globalworth intends to invest €130m in a series of acquisitions on the Romanian real estate market. Some of the deals are already being finalized, while others are still in the negotiation phase, according to Globalworth.
